Client Service Officer (CSO)

Job Purpose

  • The Client Services Officer (CSO) is responsible for attending to new and old client professionally  to achieve customer satisfaction, repeat patronage and also referrals. He / She is expected to maintain a high level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • The Client Services Officer (CSO)  must have the appropriate  knowledge to enable He/She attend to any number of client making inquiries, pension payment applications and complaints at their locations and relay any Difficult situations to the Regional Client Service Manager without delay
  • The Client Services Officer (CSO) acts as a important medium of feedback to management because of its influence on clients due to  regular interaction with them.

Key Accountabilities /Obligations
Key Responsibilities

Deliver on all Request be it Internal or External.

  • Ensuring that prospective clients are attended with the accurate/ correct information at their first visit and also confirm that personal details are strictly provided to the actual owners of the RSA, these includes Biometric confirmation, Image and signature and  security questions e.t.c.
  • Regular updates must be done on relevant information to the service provided on client first visit.
  • Collection of duly completed RSA forms / benefit application documents on clients first visit to service location and also to save the documents on H and SharePoint for APU to attend to within 24hours of collection from clients.
  • Ensures that reply requests by the company are sent to employers where necessary within 24hours of recieving the application unless clarification has to be made from Contributions and Collections or RM.
  • Supervises PBB enquiry officer assigned to the CSE
  • Works on Enquiries/ requests sent by the assigned PBBs promptly like the preparation of company replies for applications received in PBB spaces and also quick action on change requests forwarded within 24hours of notication.
  • Making sure daily review of all untreated /pending benefit applications received are done by CSE and assigned PBB enquiry officer for urgent attention.
  • Making sure that all interactions/transactions are logged on NAV CRM/BMS as appropriate.
  • Making sure accurate record are kept for all documents received and processed daily and also ensuring hardcopies are Filing and forwarded to the regional offices for onward delivery to the respective archives.
  • Making sure changes made on request forms received are processed and filed appropriately for easy retrieval within 24hrs
  • Ensures quick responses to enquiries from partner units.
  • Ensures a clean desk policy are maintained at all times.

Preferred Qualification and Experience

  • First Degree in any field of study


  • Not less than of two years experience with customer service roles

Regional Agency Coordinator (SIPML)

Key Accountabilities /Obligations

  • Achieve and surpass assigned monthly/Yearly RSA PIN target
  • improvng SIPML’s wallet share of employer’s business by enabling and creating more contributing RSA pins and voluntary contributions.
  • Timely Identification, initiating and converting leads for SIPML
  • improving the sales coverage for the company in various location.
  • Regular provision of  SWOT analysis of the region and making sure region’s identified plans are executed
  • Making sure of continous and seamless training and development Co-ordinate and monitor agents’ commission payments
  • Provide Support  for the State Managers in timely generation of  leads and also closing deals and opportunities.

Ensure Legislative Compliance and SIBTC standards:

  • Enlightenment and awareness creation for employees and their employers about the dynamics of the Pension industry
  • Operate within the PenCom guidelines and framework so as to avoid sanctions or infractions to the Company
  • Making sure code of conduct and all other related guidelines and ethic by the agency team are strictly adhered to.
  • Ensuring stakeholder management are done orderly.
  • Ensure agents are displaying SIBTC values and operating within the SIBTC code of conducts
  • Ensure business agreement are properly executed and adhered to

Preferred Qualification and Experience

  • First Degree preferably in Business Commerce or Organization Governance


  • Not less than three year experience in sales and customer relationship and management
