Job outline

This person is going to be accountable for maintaining an up to date record of all assets and liabilities from debtors and creditors likewise as making ready and maintaining all Company’s monetary reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Posting from money and cheque vouchers
  • Raising of petty and cheque vouchers
  • Preparation of employees wage and allowances
  • Raising of form M for Importation of products
  • Reconciliation of financial statement to the cash book

Tax consultant (FMCG) – Accra

Our client is an international FMCG company with its Africa HQ in Ghana. They presently have a vacant position for a Tax consultant in Accra.
The ideal candidate will:

  • Have the knowledge of tax compliance and tax accounting principles to supervise and prepare all company tax compliance reports, whereas giving reports on monetary fund issues and taxation effects of business decisions to company managers.
  • Assist with engagement progress management and supervision of tax consultants and interns on allotted engagements.
  • Assist with the preparation of customer’s billings and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with drafting a new proposal for brand new and existing clients.
  • Coordinating with the in-house tax preparation team within the company and with the client’s tax department.
  • Assist with varied state and native state tax consulting projects as well as sales & use and indirect tax overpayment reviews, tax implications of sales and buy transactions, audit defense services, nexus designing, and voluntary disclosures

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Support in System Administration: Support all departments, through testing, maintaining, and upgrading processed applications, and customized record-keeping and statistics-generating registers and tools as per specific desires and needs, to confirm the sleek flow of processes and implementation of the applications to cover the company’s information and reporting wants.
  • Hardware follow up: Follow abreast of all IT hardware (UPS, laptops, desktops, printers, etc.) and communication system, by maintaining them internally or contact service providers for maintenance of this hardware, to confirm efficient and effective functioning of hardware.
